Thursday was a day full of excitement over the NEET paper leak. By evening, opposition demonstrations in Delhi intensified.
Late in the evening, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and around 100 MPs from opposition parties reached the Gandhi Smriti located on January 30 Road. There, he prayed for the students who died after the NEET question papers were leaked and for those who suffered during the protests.
Rahul Gandhi said, “Our leader Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated here. Today the Modi government is killing democracy in India. The opposition is not going to put up with this.”
He said that Prime Minister Modi will have to remove Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Earlier, many opposition MPs came to the meeting at Rahul Gandhi’s residence. After this, barricades were installed near his residence. Immediately after the meeting, the Congress leader planned to visit Gandhi Smriti, located less than a kilometer from his residence.

Meanwhile, youth demonstration continues at Jantar Mantar in Delhi over the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The government’s calls and assurances to stop the protests do not seem to have any impact on the youth.
On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said “the welfare of the country’s youth and their future is our top priority.”
The Prime Minister said the government has decided to set up fast track courts to punish those responsible for leaking question papers.
PM Modi said, “Instructions have been issued in this regard that the concerned departments should ensure necessary action.” This is an important step in a series of decisions taken by the government to protect the interests of students. Anyone who plays with the future of youth will not be spared.
Assured by Prime Minister Modi, Saurabh Das, the chief spokesman of the cockroach Janata Party, said: “There is no point in such things, such statements. It’s all a bluff. The public should not fall for the bluff. We want accountability and will not negotiate for anything other than the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan.”
