“Latitude has been operating in Henham Park for 20 years – it’s heaven.”

“I grew up in Australia and in our culture we don’t have festivals like here, oddly enough,” Rose added.

“So, I didn’t fully understand it, but that first year I had a feeling that this was something incredibly special.

“But I certainly couldn’t have predicted it would reach this level and become such a landmark event in the Suffolk calendar.”

However, Rose said the Latitude festival is about more than just entertainment.

“You can find a quiet place, or you can find a loud place. You can dance until three in the morning or swim in the lake at 10 in the morning,” he said.

“You can go to a sauna in the woods or drink a huge margarita at five o’clock in the evening – and I do all this to be honest.

“I just think it’s a different atmosphere (compared to other festivals) because it’s so Suffolk-centric and so family-oriented. This is such a shining moment that will really excite us for the next 20 years,” he added.
