According to Betis sources, the Chilean coach was forced to leave the German national team this Friday for personal reasons, and his deputy Cousillas will lead the team from the bench.
The green and white team will return to Seville this Saturday after a friendly match against Germany. They face Recreativo de Huelva and Granada next week to continue their preparations ahead of the league’s opening night against Real Sociedad on August 21.
