Kozhikode: Many schools in the state have declared a holiday on Monday for the FIFA World Cup finals. The management said that all three Bhavan schools in Kozhikode will remain closed.

Bhavana’s principal said the school has decided to declare Monday as a holiday to give students and their families an opportunity to enjoy the finals together.

Gregorian Public School, Marad, Kochi, had earlier announced a holiday for the World Cup final. The World Cup final will take place on Monday morning, Indian time. Therefore, after watching the game on Monday morning, the children are given time off due to the difficulty of getting to school.
