Donald H. Wilson, 67, of Monmouth, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at his home.
Donald was born August 10, 1958, in Monmouth, the son of Charles Alexander and Ella J. Wilson. He was raised and educated in Monmouth, graduating from Monmouth High School in 1978.
He worked at the Farmland, Monmouth Township Wastewater Treatment Plant and later as a mechanic for Pee Wee’s Service.
He was a member of the Monmouth Eagle Club and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his siblings, Rogann (Court) Chambers, Rodney (Bev) Teal, Guy Teal and Gary (Tara) Teal; Leland (Sandra) Hank and Karen Cassiday. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, Rex and Vera Kilpatrick, Willard and Zelma Teal; bonus parents Roger Teal and Leland Hank; brother, Ricky L. Teal; great-nephew Dominic Hanneman.
Cremation was permitted. A private family interment will take place at a later date at Warren County Memorial Park in Monmouth.
