2026 Daytime Emmy Nominations (Live Update)

Days after the Primetime Emmy nominations were released, we have the first group of nominees for the 2026 Daytime Emmys. Ahead of the full list coming out on Tuesday, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has named nominees in four key categories.

Below you’ll find Daytime Talk stars and contestants, Daytime Talk hosts, and leading actors and lead actresses in daytime dramas.

Nominees in those four categories were announced on Monday’s episodes of the syndicated show. Additional And Entertainment tonightNominations for three more categories, including the top Outstanding Daytime Drama category, will be announced on Tuesday’s ABC program. View.

Contenders to host Daytime Talk include Kelly Clarkson and Sherri Shepherd, whose eponymous shows will not return in the fall.

Last year ABC General Hospital repeated its drama series triumph at the 2025 Daytime Emmy Awards.

“We are proud to honor the extraordinary talent and creative teams whose work continues to define and elevate daytime television,” NATAS President and CEO Adam Sharp said in a statement. “As the daytime landscape evolves and new forms of storytelling emerge, we remain committed to recognizing the innovation happening across the industry.”

The winners will be honored during the 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards on October 30 in Hollywood. The host of the show has not yet been named.
