Ashad Amavasya Pujan Vidhi
In the morning, before sunrise, take a bath with water mixed with Ganga water from any holy river, reservoir or river and offer Arghya to the Sun God. Then take water, Ganga water, black sesame seeds, milk and kusha in a copper vessel and offer it to the ancestors while facing south. After this, light the lamp in the temple at home.
