KABUL (Pajwock): Amo Sharks defeated Spingar Tigers by eight wickets in the 11th edition of the Spageza Cricket League (SCL) at the Rahmat Wali Masroor Cricket Stadium on Saturday.
Amo Sharks won the toss and elected to field first, restricting Spingar Tigers to 167 for seven in their allotted 20 overs.
Ismat Alam was the top scorer for Spingar Tigers with 42 runs while Noor Rahman and Ijaz Ahmadzai scored 28 runs each.
For Amo Sharks, Gulbadin Naib took three wickets while Qais Ahmad and Yamin Ahmadzai took two wickets each.
In reply, Amo Sharks reached the target in 17.2 overs for the loss of just two wickets to secure an eight-wicket win.
Imran Mir led the successful chase with an unbeaten 88 runs while Faisal Shinozada scored 55 runs.
In the second match of the day, Boost Defenders won the toss and decided to take on champions Mis-i-Ainak first in the SCL.
